Hopster

Hopster is an easy to configure proxy tool. The free version is limited to a 4KB/s transfer rate (speed of a 56k modem). But surfing feels fast! Just download the 1.3 MB Setup file and install it. It will test your connection/firewall and than configure everything automatically. The free vesion shows an advertisment banner on top of your screen. The BASIC version costs 3.33$/month and gives you no advertisments and a speed of 4KB/s. For 10$/month you get 25KB/s download speed and for 20$ you get a speed of 100KB/s.

Just configure your browser, icq, msn, yahoo messenger, ftp, irc and so on to use a socks4 proxy server with the ip 127.0.0.1 and port 1080. (thats the hopster application on your own pc). You are also anonymous. When I tested the software, I got the IP vlan743-gw.lgho.com

On the right you can see the main Hopster program running. About in the middle the transfer window (because of my windows version in german) and below that the advertisment window. In the background you see a Proxyjudge website showing the Hopster-IP adress.

Watch out to discheck "install WebHancer" during installation. That's spyware!
